Balsam Balm 2oz

$15.00

Balsam Balm is made from just 4 ingredients.  Of these four ingredients, three are locally produced/grown in Maine.

Organic Leaf Lard (Maine)

Lard is an amazing substance to use with lots of benefits for your skin.  It is an old world ingredient for a healing ointment.  Leaf lard is delicate, and the highest grade of lard from pigs. We source our leaf lard from pigs raised by Misty Brook Farm, a small, certified organic family farm in Albion, Maine.  www.mistybrook.com

Organic Olive Oil

We use only organic olive oil in the Balsam Balm.

Balsam Fir Tips (Foraged in Maine)

We forage the tender young balsam fir tips off the balsam trees around the gardens of Swan Botanicals in late spring/early summer.  The tips are infused into organic olive oil for many weeks.  The oil is strained after that time, and used to make Balsam Balm.

Beeswax (Harvested in Maine)

We source our beeswax from Maya’s Apiary in Sidney, Maine.

"I love the smell and the feel of Balsam Balm.  I use it on my face daily, especially on a dry scaly spot on my cheek that is now soft and smooth to the touch." -BC

“Balsam Balm has replaced all of our other go-to salves, ointments, and creams. I use it as lip balm, and my child loves it for bug bites. It feels deeply nourishing and gets the job done!” ER

"I love Balsam Balm all year round.  I really fell in love during the fall/winter months when it soothed my very red and cracked hands.  As a baker, I wash my hands so much and nothing else seems to help.  Balsam Balm helped to clear up the irritation rash on my hands, plus it smells great!" -CG
